CULINARY COMPETITION: Be an Official Judge!
Ever dreamed of being a judge at a culinary competition? Now’s your chance! We’re launching a contest to find Taste of Alpharetta’s biggest fans, who can win a seat as an official judge for the 2025 Culinary Competition, which is presented by Mise en place Cooking Studio.
As a judge, you'll join top food critics, social media influencers, Alpharetta restaurateurs, and community leaders in blind tasting entries from top restaurants to determine the winners in categories of Best Appetizer, Best Entrée and Best Dessert.
Application accepted until Wednesday, April 9 at 12 PM.

Visit this year's Locally Grown area to learn about top organizations and all aspects of the food system through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and more!
2Black Beekeepers are a 3rd generation of beekeepers that are joining Locally Grown for the first time! Stop by to see their observation hive and enjoy fresh local honey!
The current AGaretta team will be promoting AGaretta Box for the 2025-2026 school year. Our displays will advertise the products that will be sold by the next team and describe the benefits of the program to our students and community alike.
Join the Alpharetta Raiders Culinary Students as they showcase their skills and show how you can make your own summer drinks!
Cambridge High School FFA will be celebrating agriculture in Milton. Guests of the booth can assist in performing teddy bear surgeries, as well participate in an interactive game focused on Georgia Agriculture.
The Alpharetta Community Agriculture Program (Old Rucker Farm) will be talking about local agriculture, local food, and how to get involved! They will be demonstrating the food dehydrators that are a key element of the city’s community compost program, and also passing out free organic flower seeds from the farms giant sunflowers.
Fresh Harvest will have an interactive display highlighting their local organic produce and grocery delivery service as well as helping people to understand where their food is coming from.
GCC’s booth will provide education on what materials are compostable and what composting programs and facilities exist in Georgia and how event attendees can get involved in the composting industry in Georgia.
Curious about what happens to your water after it goes down the drains from your toilets and sinks? Come find out at The Journey of Our Water, an enlightening experience detailing the water and wastewater treatment process!
Second Helpings Atlanta staff and volunteers will be speaking on the mission of Second Helpings Atlanta, volunteer food rescue opportunities, and food rescue at Taste of Alpharetta. Additionally, Second Helpings Atlanta will have informational brochures and giveaways at the table.
We invite attendees to engage in a hands-on experience at our booth, where founder Sharan will demonstrate the traditional art of spice grinding using a mortar and pestle. Visitors will witness firsthand how our signature blend, For Everythin’, comes to life as coriander, cumin, and fennel seeds are freshly ground. This interactive activity not only showcases the craftsmanship behind our products but also allows participants to appreciate the rich aromas and textures of these essential spices.
UGA Extension Fulton County will be on-site to help you with your gardening questions! Learn how to collect soil and plant disease samples to help you be the most successful gardener you can be. We will have plenty of resources for vegetable gardening, landscaping, rain gardens, deer-tolerant plants, community gardening, sustainability, and much more.
